Basic Pro-lordotic Neck Exercise

  • The pro-lordotic neck exerciser should be held behind your neck. Point your palms outward. Next, move your arms outward and relax your neck.

  • Your arms should be extended fully. Pull your lower neck forward. If you feel pain in your neck or upper back, stop extending your arms. Over time, you will feel no pain as you go further.

  • With your arms extended and your lower neck fully extended, extend your head forward. This will help stretch your neck muscles. You can only retract your head to full extension if there is no pain. Stop extending your head if you feel pain.

  • You can move your fully extended arms slightly forward and back, while keeping your head elevated to make a "pumping motion".

  • Start by pulling the neck exerciser down on your lower neck. After 3-4 repetitions, you can adjust the angle of your pull so that it pulls on the middle part of your neck. Your arms should be bent upwards by about 15 degrees. After three to four repetitions adjust the angle of pull so your neck is pulled upwards. Your arms should be angled approximately 30 degrees up.

What are the Options?

There are three options available for the Pro-lordotic neck exerciser. The Red Easy Pull is your first choice. This is for people with weak grip strength such as the elderly or children.

The Blue Medium Pull could be the next. This pull is for small adult females as well as larger adult males. The Green Strong Pull is the last option.
